STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Alex has ten years of experience in the strength and conditioning industry. This has included designing, delivering and evaluating programmes and coaching within a high-performance setting: Cricket Wellington representative teams (male and female), High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) Netball Emerging Talent group, Wellington College top/premier sports teams and premier teams at Poneke Rugby Club and Miramar Rangers. Alex's holds a Master of Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning) and a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation (Sport and Exercise Science).
To build well-rounded sportspeople and develop holistic lifelong habits.
To foster a training environment that is nationally and internationally recognised.
Srength & Conditioning Services On Offer
Athlete Receives the following-
Age appropriate 6-week programme design based on a needs analysis.
Physical testing (pre and post).
Programme run through session.
Athlete completes 6-week training block (self-directed).
Progression programme is developed.
Location: Scots College Gym (Late afternoon/ early evening)
Cost: $80 per testing and programme run through session (1 hour)
Group Strength & Conditioning Training Session
Programme runs during the school term time and weekly sessions are completed during one evening per week.
Max of 10 athletes per group session
Age-appropriate programme design and physical testing are factored in.
Location: Scots College Gym
Cost: $100 per school term per athlete.
